"What It Is, Not What It Ain't! Escalating Tensions in the Mexican Drug War"
This paper discusses the escalating tensions in the Mexican Drug War up to September 2025, as well as actions taken by Trump near Venezuela and in Chicago, literally on the eve of stepped-up American intervention in Mexico. His listing of Mexican, Venezuelan & Ecuadorian drug cartels as FTO's is mentioned. Musical genres of Reggaetton, Banda & narcocorridos, typically associated with the drug culture in Durango, are also discussed. He notes the 'Trumpian' enthusiasm of the now-energized anti-drug forces. This work is considered the 3rd in a Tolkienesque-like trilogy, starting with the 'True History,' 'Miscellany,' and ending with the 'Tensions.' All of these works discuss the Mexican Drug War to a greater or lesser extent. The author bears witness and tries to elaborate on his scant knowledge.
