Targeted Ultrasonic Neuro-Modulation via Adaptive Acoustic Lens Arrays for Enhanced Chemotherapy Delivery in Brain Tumors: A Quantitative Analysis
**Abstract:** This paper details a novel system for targeted ultrasound-mediated chemotherapy delivery in brain tumors, leveraging adaptive acoustic lens arrays (AALAs) to achieve unprecedented spatial precision and drug penetration. We present a mathematical framework for optimizing AALA configurations to focus ultrasonic energy precisely within tumor boundaries while minimizing systemic exposure. Quantitative experimental results demonstrate a significant increase in drug delivery efficiency to targeted tumor cells compared to traditional methods, accompanied by reduced off-target effects. This system holds immense potential for enhancing the efficacy of brain tumor treatment and improving patient outcomes.
