Symbolic Compression and Social Knowledge: The Case of ⟁ and the UAU Formula
Symbolic Compression and Social Knowledge: The Case of ⟁ and the UAU Formula AbstractThis article presents the invention of a new symbolic method based on the Universal Attention Unit (UAU) formula: UAU = (η × N_free) / T From this formula, we derive the symbol ⟁, which acts as a compact key capable of holding and expanding complex bodies of knowledge. Unlike traditional signs or digital codes, ⟁ is grounded in a scientific model that links efficiency, cognitive resources, and time. This creates a new approach to information preservation and human–AI interaction with profound social implications. --------------------------------------------------- This record presents an updated and stabilised description of the Universal Attention Unit (UAU) model within the Univers Logos framework. It formalises the UAU as a quantifiable expression of the observer–information interaction: UAU = (η × N_free) / T The document defines operational constants, symbolic mappings, and test parameters for multi-channel evaluation, symbolic compression, and cross-domain attention flow. This version refines the methodological clarity of previous releases and harmonises the model with the ⟁ Symbolic Writing structure.
