Rizia Rahman's Bong to Bangla : History of Bangladesh in women's speechRizia Rahman's Bong to History of Bangladesh in women's speech
Razia Rahman was born in Kolkata on 28 December 1939. Born into an enlightened and artistic family, she became interested in literature at a very young age. (Interview with Razia Rahman 2017: 18). Novels are the main field of Rizia Rahman's literary pursuits. She has captured the folk traditions, diverse people's lives and their culture of Bangladesh in her writings. Class distinction is a very important issue in his language. That is why he has given place to regional languages, languages of different communities and languages of different countries in his novels. Considering the choice of language, variety and subject matter, his contribution to Bengali literature is very important. Rizia Rahman has recorded the chronological history of the formation of the Bengali nation in the novel Bong to Bangla (1978). However, the specialty of this book is that it rewrites history from a woman's perspective. The purpose of the article is not to provide solid historical data, not to discuss patriarchal discourse, but to explore how women have maintained their own position in history since the creation of civilization.
