"Seizures as Magnetic Information Destabilization"
This paper reframes seizures as a destabilization of Magnetic Information Density (MID) rather than purely electrical phenomena in the brain. Using the Dimensionless Electromagnetic Stabilization Law (DESL), it formalizes how neural oscillations maintain coherence until perturbations exceed a collapse threshold, κ_neural. Biological factors—ion fluxes, neurotransmitters, structural anomalies—modulate dimensionless stability coefficients, but do not carry units themselves. The model predicts seizure initiation, propagation, and recovery, correlates with EEG signatures, and explains drug and hydration effects through shifts in dimensionless parameters. By remaining unitless, this framework generalizes across species, neural and artificial networks, and other MID-coherent systems, offering a unifying perspective on epilepsy and magnetic information dynamics.
