A systematic review of leadership evolution: trends and emerging domains in healthcare and digital governance

The purpose of the article was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the evolution of leadership research in the context of healthcare and digital governance in order to identify key trends and the development of interdisciplinary approaches in the period 2000-2024. The research uses bibliometric analysis of scientific literature from the PubMed database, including keyword filtering, selection of articles based on methodological categories, and analysis of author collaboration. The study showed a significant increase in interest in leadership in healthcare and digital management over the past 24 years, with an average growth rate of publications of 18.4% annually. It was determined that the key research topics have shifted from traditional theoretical leadership to more integrated approaches in the context of technology and healthcare.
