IMPACT OF DIGITAL GOVERNANCE ON ECONOMIC POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

This article examines the transformative impact of digital governance on economic policy implementation, highlighting how technological innovations such as e-governance platforms, big data analytics, and automated monitoring systems enhance efficiency, transparency, and public engagement in policy execution. Drawing on primary data from interviews with government officials and IT professionals, as well as secondary sources including international reports and case studies, the study demonstrates that digital tools streamline administrative processes, improve fiscal management, reduce corruption, and enable better targeting of economic programs. However, it also underscores challenges such as digital divides, cybersecurity risks, infrastructure limitations, and the need for institutional readiness and citizen digital literacy. Overall, the research concludes that while digital governance can significantly improve the effectiveness and inclusivity of economic policies, its success depends on integrating technology with robust institutional frameworks, inclusive strategies, and continuous evaluation.
