A Higher-Dimensional Perspective on Quantum Probability: Orbital Discontinuity as Dimensional Projection
This work does not present a new physical theory but instead a preliminary and speculative thought experiment. It explores whether the probabilistic behavior of electrons in atomic orbitals could be interpreted as the projection of deterministic motion in a higher-dimensional space. Using simple analogies such as a rotating propeller and higher-dimensional cross-sections, it illustrates how continuous dynamics might appear probabilistic when reduced to three dimensions. The intention is not to replace quantum mechanics but to stimulate imagination and provide a starting point for philosophical reflection.
