Low-Noise Supercontinuum Using a 1.85 µm fs Pump and a Normal Dispersion ZBLAN Fibre

We have developed a low-noise supercontinuum source using a normal-dispersion PM- ZBLAN fibre and a 58-fs, 1.85 μm pump. We achieve a bandwidth of 900 nm (at -60 dB) and a minimum RIN of 0.22%.

Abstract

We have developed a low-noise supercontinuum source using a normal-dispersion PM- ZBLAN fibre and a 58-fs, 1.85 μm pump. We achieve a bandwidth of 900 nm (at -60 dB) and a minimum RIN of 0.22%.
