Elements and Applications of Multirotor UAV Composition

Multirotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) havebecome increasingly prevalent across various applications dueto their versatility, cost-effectiveness, and ease of operation. Thispaper presents a comprehensive analysis of the essential elementsthat constitute multirotor UAV systems and their diverse applica-tions. We systematically examine six core components: airframestructure, power systems, flight control and navigation systems, communication systems, mission payloads, and ground controlsystems. Each component’s functionality, design considerations, and technological advancements are discussed in detail. Further-more, we explore the integration challenges and optimizationstrategies for achieving optimal performance in different appli-cation scenarios. The paper also investigates current applicationsranging from aerial photography and surveillance to precisionagriculture and emergency response. Through comparative anal-ysis and performance evaluation metrics, we provide insightsinto the selection criteria for different UAV configurations basedon mission requirements. This comprehensive review serves as afoundation for understanding modern multirotor UAV technologyand guides future development directions in this rapidly evolvingfield.
