High-Density Rack Cooling Integration
High-density GPU racks (e.g., 4×H200 NVL, 2.4 kW per rack)face critical thermal challenges. Traditional air cooling isinsufficient, and single-point liquid cooling limits scalabilityand redundancy.Proposed Solution: A hybrid, multi-level cooling architecturecombining:1. Cold-plate direct-to-chip cooling for hotspots.2. Multi-layer modular radiators distributed vertically in therack.3. Rear-door heat exchanger (RDHx) to recapture residualrack air heat.4. Centralized CDU / compressor system for row- or facilitylevel cold supply.5. Rooftop gravity-fed water tank providing static head andemergency backup. This integration maximizes cooling efficiency, enhancesreliability, reduces pump energy, and allows incrementaldeployment.
