Building a Scalable B2B E-Commerce Platform using Medusa.js-A Headless Commerce Approach.

The growing adoption of digital technologies in the B2B sector has created a strong demand for scalable, secure, and modular E-Commerce platforms. Traditional monolithic solutions often lack the flexibility required to handle bulk procurement, dynamic pricing, and complex vendor integrations. To address this challenge, this project details the development of a headless B2B E-Commerce platform using Medusa.js for a Bengaluru-based supply aggregator. The project's second phase focused on implementing core functional modules, including Product Catalogue Management, Order Management System, Pricing Models, Product Variations, Order Processing, Shipping Management, Inventory Management, and Secure Login. These modules were integrated into a modular architecture to ensure scalability, high performance, and ease of future expansion. The platform is designed to deliver an efficient procurement experience through real-time order tracking, secure transactions, automated inventory updates, and role-based access control. Rigorous testing confirmed system reliability and performance under simulated business conditions. The successful completion of this phase demonstrates that headless commerce, powered by Medusa.js, provides a robust, agile, and adaptable foundation for modern B2B operations.
