Investigating the Impact of Integrating Smart Technologies on Student Engagement and Academic Performance

To improve learning environments, encourage student engagement, and increase operational efficiency, smart technology integration in educational settings has become crucial. This study explores the advantages and difficulties of implementing smart devices in the classroom and suggests methods for successful execution. Based on a thorough literature review and framework analysis, the study emphasizes how advanced ICT resources, AI-driven technologies, and smart classrooms may improve resource management, promote cooperation, and customize learning. Although smart technologies greatly improve teaching and learning results, the results show that widespread implementation is hindered by issues including ethical concerns, technical biases, infrastructural deficiencies, and inadequate teacher preparation. The report suggests a multifaceted approach to solving these issues, which includes creating regulating structures, funding teacher preparation programs, enhancing infrastructure, encouraging ethical behavior, and supporting collaborative research and innovation. By putting these suggestions into practice, educational institutions may use smart technology to build inclusive, effective, and flexible learning environments that adapt to the requirements of both teachers and students. This study highlights how smart technologies may revolutionize education and provides stakeholders with useful guidance on how to use technology to enhance academic performance.
