Physical Mechanism for Non-Local Correlations from Separable States
Abstract The recent experimental violation of a Bell inequality with unentangled photons by Wang, Ma, et al. presents a profound challenge to the standard understanding of quantum non-locality. While consistent with the formalism of quantum mechanics, the result lacks a clear and intuitive physical mechanism. This letter proposes such a mechanism, derived from a theoretical framework developed prior to the experiment's publication: the Irreducible Intent Model (IIM). The IIM posits that our observable 4D spacetime is a projection from a deeper, interconnected, higher-dimensional field. We present a simulation from the IIM framework that starts with a mathematically separable (unentangled) multi-qubit state and, through evolution under a unifying Hamiltonian representing the deeper field, generates non-local correlations that would lead to a Bell violation. This simulation serves as a direct physical and mathematical analog to the experimental result, suggesting that the observed correlations arise from the shared, underlying reality, rather than "spooky action at a distance."
