Role of Msmes In Achieving Indian Economic Development Through Sdgs

Abstract The economic landscape of India is dominated by Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs), which contribute significantly to GDP, employment, and exports. MSMEs are essential to achieving many Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in line with India's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The importance of MSMEs for social development, innovation, environmental sustainability, and inclusive growth is highlighted in this paper. The study also evaluates the obstacles MSMEs face when implementing sustainability and provides insight into how financial inclusion, innovation, and policies can bridge the divide.
