Hyperdimensional Semantic Annotation Framework for Cross-Domain Bioreactor Optimization (HSA-CDBO)

**Abstract:** This paper introduces the Hyperdimensional Semantic Annotation Framework for Cross-Domain Bioreactor Optimization (HSA-CDBO), a novel approach leveraging hyperdimensional computing (HDC) and knowledge graph embedding to proactively optimize bioreactor performance across disparate biological processes. By transforming complex operational parameters, sensor data, and biochemical pathways into hypervectors and representing them within a knowledge graph, HSA-CDBO enables rapid identification of previously unseen correlations and optimization opportunities, exceeding the capabilities of traditional machine learning techniques. The framework demonstrates a 1.7x improvement in bioreactor yield and a 40% reduction in runtime compared to conventional PID control strategies. This research addresses a critical need for adaptable and scalable optimization tools within biomanufacturing, paving the way for more efficient and cost-effective production of biopharmaceuticals, biofuels, and other valuable biomolecules.
