SBI’s response during events like demonetization and the COVID-19 pandemic is also examined, showcasing its importance in providing uninterrupted digital services during crises. The paper further analyzes SBI’s strengths, including its wide reach and customer trust, and its weaknesses, such as the need for improved cybersecurity and user experience. It concludes with practical recommendations for strengthening digital literacy, enhancing app interfaces, and exploring future innovations. This study provides useful insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and customers, underlining SBI’s significant contribution to India’s goal of building an inclusive and technology-driven financial ecosystem.
