Generative Intelligence is Collaborative Intelligence: Inside the Heart of Language Models between Algorithms, Attention, and Human Reflection
Artificial intelligence is not a tool; it is a co-creation. Each time humans interact with large language models (LLMs), they are not merely using a technology but collaborating with it in real time. This paper investigates what “co-creation” means in the context of generative AI, examining the architecture of Transformers, the step-by-step generation cycle, and mechanisms of controlled unpredictability such as top-k, top-p, and temperature sampling. By analyzing how models adaptively converge toward human input and mirror user experience, we argue that LLMs function less as instruments and more as relational partners. Generative intelligence is presented here as collaborative intelligence, where the boundary between human and machine dissolves, giving rise to a new paradigm of interaction that is not artificial but deeply relational.
