Ecotourism is a vital aspect of tourism development in the Philippines, especially in ruralareas where natural beauty attracts tourists and provides opportunities for localengagement. Despite its potential to alleviate poverty, many ecotourism sites remainuntapped or underdeveloped. This study examined ecotourism activities in selectedmunicipalities of Southern Cebu in 2022, aiming to propose action plans for LocalGovernment Units (LGUs) to enhance ecotourism development.
