This research aims to analyze key variables that influence the sustainability of Pelegongan, identify their hierarchy of importance from stakeholder perceptions, and map dominant variables as the foundation of prospective strategies. Specifically, this study examines: (1) Identifying variables considered important by stakeholders (artists, traditional leaders, village government, tourism actors, and the general public) for the sustainability of Pelegongan art in Peliatank Village; (2) Describe and analyze stakeholders' perceptions regarding the level of importance of each variable to the sustainability of Pelegongan art as an economic driver in Peliatan Village; and (3) Map the most dominant key variables considered important as a basis for formulating recommendations for the sustainability strategy of Pelegongan art in Peliatan Village. The approach used is a qualitative case study reinforced by a prospective method with a sampling technique of 17 key informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and two Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sessions. Data analysis was conducted using MICMAC structural analysis. The results of the thematic analysis highlight the dynamics of studio competition related to management, dependence on policy and leadership, and the shift in the view of regeneration as an economic issue. Pelegongan arts sustainability strategies should prioritize interventions on key driving variables, followed by strengthening connecting variables, to encourage organic improvements in dependent variables.
