This paper “The Ontology of Liveness; Liveness, Disappearance and Performance in Performance Studies” aims to collect arguments given by performance scholars like Peggy Phelan, Philip Auslander, Richard Schechner, Joseph Rosch, Suzane M. Jaeger. This paper will locate their arguments over the debate of live performance, reproductions, afterlife and will locate performances to probe into the debate and to validate writer’s perception. To locate theatre productions this paper will take performances of Amitesh Grover, Pickle Factory production house, and writer’s own performance experience, meanwhile this paper aims to probe into the manner of liveness and its debates.
