DISCUSSING INDIA'S CURRENT EDUCATION SYSTEM AND ITS ABILITY TO SUPPORT INDIA'S GOAL OF BECOMING AN ECONOMIC SUPERPOWER BY 2047

This paper aims to investigate and answer the question “Can India's current education system keep up with its goal to become a superpower by 2047?” The research attempts to chart the path of the current grand educational trajectory and assess whether or not its processes are beneficial and contributing significantly to Viksit Bharat 2047. It will investigate not only the aggregate consequence on the economy of the current academic structure, but also the effect on individuals in relation to criteria that contribute to economic growth: income levels, investment opportunities, well-being, etc. The paper will also provide an implementable framework for educators, policy makers, and key decision-makers in the academic industry to ensure productive and beneficial usage of resources.
