Discovery of Proton Quantum Numbers in Bound States: A Consequence of Local de Broglie Relations

We demonstrate that protons in bound states possess quantum numbers np analogous to electron quantum numbers ne, a discovery emerging from the local interpretation of de Broglie relations. Starting from δp = hδψ where δψ representslocal spacetime curvature, we show that both particles must have n ≥ 2 for binding. The total binding energy follows PE = −(hf/2)(ne +np)/(ne · np), with both particles contributing. This framework naturally explains the 1/n3 fine structuresplitting without invoking spin-orbit coupling or relativistic corrections. For a century, physics has ignored half the quantum numbers in atoms by treating protons as static charges. We show that recognizing proton quantum states resolves longstandingspectral mysteries and suggests all bound systems involve active quantum participation from all constituents.
