The type material may be housed in RBINS, but verification was not possible. Based on the information provided by Candèze (1892: 481) and Hayek (1973: 273), the locality is added as Jharkhand. As the presence of this species in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh requires confirmation, these localities are not included here. The species is considered endemic to India.
