DINI Certificate for Open Access Publication Services 2025
The DINI Certificate was created by the DINI-Arbeitsgemeinschaft Elektronisches Publizieren (DINI Electronic Publishing Consortium - https://dini.de/ag/e-pub/) and first introduced in 2004. Experts representing the consortium update the Certificate’s catalog of criteria every three years to account for current requirements and development, and it is subsequently translated into several other languages. The present certificate is the eighth version. The present catalog of criteria translates the expectations into concrete minimum requirements of Open Access publication services. As platforms for the publication and presentation of scientific and scholarly works these represent important hubs in the scientific communication process. As Open Access services they facilitate the dissemination and democratization of knowledge.
