ADOPTION AND IMPACT OF MASS COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN ONLINE LEARNING AMONG INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN INDIA
This review reflects on how mass communication tools are transforming online learning experiences of international students in India through a synthesis of the recent literature produced by academicians. The results show that the available platforms that include learning management systems, video conferencing, mobile, and social media have broadly increased access to education materials, interaction with faculty and peers, and the feeling of belongingness to various cultural settings. These tools have been greatly associated with perceived usefulness, ease of use, and institutional support, which matches the theoretical models such as the Technology Acceptance Model. The causes of irregular digital infrastructure, disparities in technological expertise, and culturally influenced tendencies of participation are still out there, even though a lot of strides have been made. The review points out that successful online learning amongst international students involves synergies between technological innovations and inclusive pedagogy. Long-term sustenance of this practice will entail certain interventions, capacity-building programmes, and policies bridging the digital divide and making culturally responsive practice possible. Overall, the evidence promotes both the transformative power and the remaining complications of the process of the integration of mass communication tools in the Indian higher education to international learners.
