Business Ethics in Working Time Management: Social and Environmental Impacts
The management of working time has direct consequences on workers' quality of life and the environment. New work arrangements, such as remote work and the four-day workweek, have been presented as solutions to reconcile business productivity with social and environmental well-being. However, their implementation raises questions about business ethics, equity, and ecological impact. This study examines the relationship between social and environmental sustainability in the context of working time management, exploring the effects of new labor practices on the environment, workers' rights, and corporate policies, while also considering new legislative requirements in corporate sustainability.
