Scientometrics Visualization of Plant Biochemistry Using Pubmed API from 2000 To 2024
Plant biochemistry is essential for tackling global challenges, including food security, climate change, and sustainable development. We analyzed the trends in plant biochemical research from 2000 to 2024 employing scientometric methodologies. The PubMed API provided 304 documents, of which 303 were preserved after cleaning for analysis by Bibliometrix. This study identifies key research themes, prominent authors and institutions, and collaboration networks, and explores the evolution of the research focus over two decades. Visualization tools, such as VOSviewer, Infranudus, and Bibliometrix, created network maps, keyword co-occurrence analyses, and temporal trend visualizations. The research revealed a steady increase in publications, new areas of study such as metabolic engineering and stress responses, and notable contributions from prominent institutions and nations. Collaborative networks enhance research productivity and innovation. This study examined the implications for various stakeholders and proposed future research directions in plant biochemistry, providing valuable information for researchers, policymakers, and funding organizations. A thorough bibliometric analysis was conducted to examine the methodological factors of plant biochemistry, photonic distribution patterns, and other important factors. This study expands its depth through different visual representations that produce separate analytical views of investigative research. This research analyzes mapping techniques for identifying future paths in plant biochemistry studies, as well as strategic program development models.
