EVALUATING QUALITY OF LIFE IN CANCER PATIENTS RECEIVING BIO-BLISS -THE SMART HEALTH ELIXIR AS AN ADD-ON THERAPY – A SINGLE ARM CLINICAL STUDY

Background: Bio-bliss syrup is an ayurvedic preparation useful for rasayana. Addition of rasayana therapy with classical ayurvedic formulation used in in general carcinoma to observe the changes in quality of life of patients. Objectives: This study was performed to evaluate the quality life of cancer patient receving bio-bliss health elixir. Methods: The patients of both the Gender having 18-70 years of Age who already diagnosed by conventional cancer specialist or physician was cross checked by the investigator through previous reports i.e. imaging tests used in diagnosing cancer may include a computerized tomography (CT) scan, bone scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET) scan, ultrasound and X-ray, confirmation with Biopsy report. Results were statistically analysed by using the student‘t’ test. Assessment was done by WHO and FACTG questioner. Results: Total 30 patients were enrolled and 26 patients were completed the study. In regards WHO and FACT G questioner over all observation in social, physical, mental and emotional wellbeing with all the daily activities were improved statistically Conclusion: The bio-bliss health elixir gives result in to improving the quality of life in all the domain of physical, social, emotional and functional wellbeing in cancer patients. This therapy certainly improves quality of life of the patient and may enhance the life expectancy. In a nutshell, BIOBLISS- THE SMART HEALTH ELIXIR as an add-on therapy has effective therapy in the quality of life of cancer patients.
