A STUDY ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF ALKEM PHARMA

This paper evaluates the financial performance of Alkem Laboratories Ltd. over the five-year period from 2019–20 to 2023–24 using key financial ratios. The analysis focuses on profitability, return, liquidity, leverage, and activity ratios to assess the company’s efficiency, stability, and value creation. Findings reveal Alkem’s strong liquidity and low leverage profile, with consistent profitability. However, challenges related to inventory and asset efficiency call for operational improvement. The study is beneficial for investors, analysts, and corporate strategists interested in the pharmaceutical sector.
