Educational migration has become a major global trend that significantly affects economic and social development. While it allows for skill development and personal growth, it can lead to brain drain and increase regional inequalities. This article examines the economic effects of educational migration, focusing on brain drain, human capital formation, and regional differences. It explores global trends alongside the Indian experience, highlighting the causes, effects, and relevant policy measures concerning this issue. (Altbach & de Wit, 2023; Knight, 2022).
