Cyberphobic Society: Public Services Via the Laika Application in Kendari City from a Legal Sociology Perspective
The rapid pace of technological progress makes it difficult to understand its impact on society. The cyberphobic community's struggle to access public services easily and efficiently is a social issue that affects the administrative compliance of Kendari City residents. This qualitative research aims to provide a legal sociological perspective on the compliance of cyberphobic communities in meeting administrative requirements in Kendari City. The study adopts a socio-empirical approach and includes interviews with cyberphobic community members, village heads in Kendari City, and community leaders. The research findings reveal that the LAIKA application's public service program has both positive and negative impacts. Three social dynamics affect the administrative compliance of cyberphobic communities: awareness of the need to complete administrative data, fulfillment of the community's rights to complete administration, and efforts to protect the community's rights in obtaining government protection. Therefore, cyberphobic individuals have the right to basic government services. Legal sociology studies suggest that Kendari City's cyberphobic community is a social phenomenon that requires the involvement of community groups to address the social issues it faces.
