EFFORTS TO IMPROVE PROFICIENCY IN LITERARYPRONUNCIATION

In the modern era, against the backdrop of increasing demands for speech quality in both society and the education system, the formation and improvement of literary pronunciation habits hold particular importance. Correct pronunciation not only elevates the normative use of language but also serves as an indicator of the speaker’s cultural awareness and a sign of professionalism in communication. Methodological work in this field, especially at the preschool and general education levels, is built upon the acquisition of phonetic norms of speech, as well as the development of listening and imitation skills. In order to improve literary pronunciation habits, both oral and technological resources should be utilized, and interactive methods and communicative approaches should be incorporated into the teaching process. In this regard, the role of teachers, the quality of teaching materials, and the motivational nature of the learning environment are among the key factors. At the same time, the promotion of correct pronunciation through media and social platforms positively influences the language culture of society. Research indicates that if purposeful and systematic work is carried out in this area, it is possible to raise the level of speech culture in both educational and general public environments.
