Micro‑Topo‑Quantum Fluidics: A Full Scientific Proposal (IMRaD)
We propose a microfluidic device that implements a Möbius/Klein‑inspired closed path and operates at Re ≤ 0.2 so that magnetotactic bacteria (Magnetospirillum gryphiswaldense, MSR‑1) remain active navigators rather than passive tracers. The bacteria express EYFP and/or BLUF/LOV domains to enable room‑temperature protein‑spin ODMR with optical readout. A discrete winding number extracted per lap serves as a topological hash that rejects low‑frequency noise. We detail a P0→P2 plan, instrumentation (including lock‑in ODMR), statistics, and open‑science deliverables. Acceptance: ODMR contrast ≥ 3% with ; under 1/f noise; and (CI95% not crossing 1). Thermal rise < 0.2 °C. Impact: This could enable room‑temperature quantum magnetometry with biological robustness, bridging quantum sensing and microfluidics.
