The Heptagonal Ontology: A Unified Framework for Fundamental Physics. Through Seven Operator Theory
This paper presents a comprehensive ontological framework that unifies fundamental physics through seven primary operators. Building upon Victor Gamov’s holographic principles and Garrett Lisi’s exceptional group theory, we demonstrate that the five fundamental interactions emerge as manifestations of a deeper heptagonal structure. The modelintroduces two novel operators— ˆOΣ (Substantiation) and ˆOΩ (Observation)—that complete the ontological picture by providing mechanisms for physical realization and quantum stabilization. The operators in Gamov’s theory are ontological functors, components of a holographic mapping that operate at a level preceding the formation of sets. Through their action, they generate the sets themselves, their elements, and the physical and mathematical laws governing their relationships. Simply put: these are not operators within reality - they are operators that create reality and everything within it. This explains why in Gamov’swork they do not take the form ˆOψ = λ ψ in Hilbert space. Their domain is the space ofpossibilities, and their action constitutes the act of collapsing possibility into actuality. We show how the complete classification of finite simple groups, including the 18infinite families and 26 sporadic groups, naturally emerges from interactions between theseseven fundamental operators. The theory offers testable predictions for next-generationparticle colliders and quantum gravity experiments, providing a mathematical foundationfor understanding the origin of physical laws and constants.
