Entanglement Network as the Relational Foundation of Spacetime, Life, and Cosmic Consciousness
We propose a theoretical framework in which the fundamental structure of reality is an entanglementnetwork – a graph of quantum-entangled units – and that this network provides a relational foundationfor physical spacetime, the emergence of life’s complex order, and the phenomenon of consciousness. We argue that classical spacetime geometry and proper time can emerge from the entanglementrelations of fundamental degrees of freedom. In this model, relational time is defined viacausal graphs, with proper time corresponding to chain lengths in a directed acyclic graph of events. We introduce the concept of relational propulsion, wherein “bridge” operators create shortcuts(analogous to wormholes) in the entanglement network, leading to contracted travel times. We further outline a CSU (Cosmic Supercoherence Unification) model of consciousness, positing thatconsciousness arises from global network coherence across scales – an idea linking quantumentanglement and integrated information. The paper synthesizes insights from quantum gravity (ER = EPR conjecture), causal set theory, quantum biology, and cognitive science to explore philosophical implications of a universe viewedas an entangled information network. We discuss how entanglement-driven spacetime could underlie life’s emergence and propose experimentalavenues (e.g. quantum network analogues, wormhole simulations on quantum computers) to test aspectsof the theory. Our findings suggest a unified perspective in which spacetime, life, and mind are rooted in a relationalweb of quantum correlations, offering a fresh approach to the long-standing quest for a theory of everything.
