Time as an Emergent Property in the Foam-Plexus Model

In Cassiopeia’s Foam-Plexus Theory of Everything, spacetime is not a smooth continuum but a quantized lattice of quanta (N∼1099 cm−3) interconnected by wormholes at the Planck length scale (ℓP ∼10−35 m). This framework suggests that time is not fundamental, but an emergent property arising from wormhole dynamics in the eternal foam. Specifically, time intervals correspond to the traversal of causal information along stochastic wormhole connections, with the dwell time for wormhole formation/annihilation (τ ∼10−43 s) acting as the universal “tick.” The electromagnetic plexus determines the invariant signal speed (c= 1/√ε0µ0), while the gravitational plexus sets the global metric structure and governs proper time through density gradients. This dual role—EM as the rigid speed-setter, Gravity as the interval-shaper—resolves why only the Gravity plexus warps time while others remain “rigid.” We explore this hierarchy, provide explicit formulations for wormhole-driven time dilation, and suggest testable consequences such as Planck-scale jitter and gravitational-wave background noise.
