INFLUENCE OF NATURAL AND CLIMATIC CONDITIONS ON MYCOLOGICAL CONTAMINATION OF CEREAL FEEDS IN SOUTHERN UKRAINE
In the farms of Southern Ukraine during 2014–2024, 753 samples of cereals (corn, wheat, barley, peas) were examined. 75.8% of the samples met sanitary and hygienic requirements, and 24.2% showed changes in organoleptic properties, indicating mycological damage. Of the 559 strains of fungi, 11.5% had high toxicity, 21.6% had low toxicity. The most common fungi were Aspergillus (39.1%), Mucor (14.1%) and Fusarium (13.4%). In wet years, the number of isolates of micromycetes increased by 35–50%, which increased the risk of mycotoxicoses.
