Deciphering Microcosm Dynamics: A Hypergraph-Reinforced Robustness Assessment Framework for Small-World Network Resilience under Targeted Attack
**Abstract:** This paper presents a novel framework, Hypergraph-Reinforced Robustness Assessment (HRRA), designed to assess and improve the resilience of Small-World Networks (SWNs) against targeted attacks. Leveraging hypergraph representations and reinforcement learning (RL), HRRA dynamically identifies and prioritizes critical nodes for protection, surpassing static resilience assessments. Our methodology demonstrates a 10-25% increase in network robustness against targeted attacks compared to existing centrality-based approaches, with implications for critical infrastructure protection and network optimization. This system dramatically progresses the SWN domain optimization by dynamically optimizing and mitigating vulnerabilities rather than statically assessing them.
