Genus Ummidia Thorell, 1875 Comments This genus currently comprises 58 species and has a highly disjunct distribution pattern: 50 species are known from the New World, four are known from the Mediterranean Region, and three are known from Central Asia. The type locality of one species, Ummidia armata (Ausserer, 1875), remains unknown (World Spider Catalog 2025).
