Predictive Metabolic Aging Clock Development via Multi-Modal Bayesian Network Analysis of Longitudinal Serum Metabolomic Data

**Abstract:** This paper introduces a novel framework for developing a highly accurate and predictive metabolic aging clock utilizing longitudinal serum metabolomic data, combined with a multi-modal Bayesian Network (MBN) analysis approach. Leveraging existing, validated technologies in metabolomics, Bayesian inference, and machine learning, we propose a system that integrates temporal metabolite changes with demographic and lifestyle factors to produce a personalized 'metabolic age' – an indicator more robust than chronological age in predicting age-related disease risk and treatment response. This system offers practical implications for preventive medicine, personalized healthcare, and longevity research, addressing the need for reliable biomarkers of biological aging. Its commercialization potential involves diagnostic kits, personalized lifestyle recommendations via mobile health platforms, and integration with clinical decision support systems.
