Çocuklarda Psikolojik Sağlamlık: Yoga Destekli Duygu Düzenleme Eğitim Programının Etkisi
ABSTRACT This study was conducted to investigate the effects of two separate programs, one involving an emotion regulation training program (DDEP) applied to 5-6 year-old preschool children and the other supported by yoga (Y-DDEP), on children's psychological resilience. The study sample consisted of 45 children aged 5-6 attending official independent preschools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Ankara. The study employed a pretest-posttest, quasi-experimental design with a control group, with two experimental groups and one control group. A "Personal Information Form" and the "Social Emotional Well-Being and Psychological Resilience Scale (PERIK)" were used as data collection tools. The study revealed that DDEP had a significant effect on children's communication, task orientation, and enjoyment of exploration skills compared to children enrolled in the MEB program. It also had a significant effect on assertiveness and stress coping skills, favoring children enrolled in the MEB program. It was concluded that Y-DDEP, the program supported by yoga, positively impacted children's psychological resilience across all subscales of the scale.
