DIVERSIFICATION OF PURE COW'S MILK PRODUCTS INTO MILK TEA : AN ASSET-BASED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (ABCD) APPROACH IN BOCEK VILLAGE, KARANGPLOSO, MALANG

Diversification of pure cow's milk-based products into milk tea is one of the innovation strategies to increase added value, competitiveness, and sustainability of dairy farmers' businesses. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method in the process of diversifying pure cow's milk products into milk tea. This method prioritizes the utilization of local potential and assets owned by the community. Community service was carried out in Bocek Karangploso Village, where the majority of the population works as dairy farmers. The results of the community service show that product diversification through the ABCD approach can increase farmers' income, expand the market, and encourage innovation of locally-based products. This article is expected to be a reference for the development of other local potential-based products.
