Offline Messaging System via Compressed Token Codes, Lightweight LLM, and Bulk Broadcast Using Mobile App
This document presents a novel offline messaging system for large groups, enabling communication without internet by sending compressed SMS messages using dictionary-based token codes with adaptive zlib compression. Very short words (e.g., “I”, “a”, “be”) are sent as-is to avoid increasing message length. The PDF includes examples, pseudocode, workflow description, and discussion of recent network outages in Jammu & Kashmir, which inspired the idea. Key features include LLM-based decoding, automated reception, local storage, chainable forwarding, and optional Text-to-Speech and PDF generation for accessibility.
