"Neutrino Mass Origin and the Fine-Structure Bottleneck- Wilcox Framework"v2.
This paper introduces a magnetic-information-based framework for neutrino mass, proposing that mass is not a fundamental property but emerges when the universe’s Magnetic Information Density (MID) reaches a critical saturation point defined by the Wilcox Constant (κ). The fine-structure constant (α) acts as an electromagnetic “negotiation bottleneck,” setting the maximum efficiency of field interactions before magnetic structures destabilize. Neutrino flavors and sterile states are interpreted as outcomes of structured MID collapse. The Ω Operator preserves flavor coherence until the MID threshold is breached, acting as a topological holonomy and collapse engine. Mass splitting, flavor oscillations, and sterile neutrino states are all quantitatively linked to magnetic curvature and vacuum structure, providing a physically testable and falsifiable model. The framework proposes both laboratory-scale and astrophysical experiments, from high-magnetic-field BEC traps to observations near magnetars and neutron stars, to verify the relationship between magnetic topology and neutrino phenomena. By unifying mass emergence, oscillations, and vacuum coherence, this work reframes particle mass as an emergent property of the universe’s magnetic architecture rather than an intrinsic attribute. Keywords: Neutrino mass, Magnetic Information Density, Wilcox Constant, Ω Operator, MID collapse, sterile neutrinos, fine-structure constant, vacuum coherence, magnetic topology, emergent particle mass, experimental neutrino physics. ---
