Influence of Tool Trajectory on the Microrelief of the Machined Surface

The influence of the kinematic parameters in practice on the resulting surface roughness is investigated. The range of grid density of the machining tracks permitting decrease in surface roughness by a factor of 1.5–2 and more uniform microrelief is established. The influence of the grid density on the productivity of abrasive finishing is determined.

Abstract

The influence of the kinematic parameters in practice on the resulting surface roughness is investigated. The range of grid density of the machining tracks permitting decrease in surface roughness by a factor of 1.5–2 and more uniform microrelief is established. The influence of the grid density on the productivity of abrasive finishing is determined.
