Peri- Menopausal Breast Lesions: Towards a More Decisive Approach
This article challenges conventional views on perimenopausal breast lesions, arguing for a more proactive surgical approach. It re-examines the relationship between these lesions and breast cancer, critiques the simplistic blaming of estrogen, and introduces the concept of intentional hematoma for volume restoration after gland removal. I advocate for bilateral selective mastectomy as both therapeutic and preventive, emphasizing personalized intervention during hormonal transition.
