EDG_Chromatic_Lensing_Evaluation_and_Predictions
In the Vacuum Energy Quanta Field (VEQF) Theory, Energy Density Gradients (EDGs) emergeas necessary features of a dynamic vacuum, guiding light trajectories through preferentialpropagation mechanisms. This paper supports and extends prior works by simulating EDGinduced lensing, predicting chromatic dispersion—where shorter wavelengths bend more due to stronger interactions with gradients. Unlike General Relativity (GR), which forecasts achromatic bending, VEQF anticipates observable color separations in lensed images, providing a falsifiable test. We detail algorithms for ray tracing, include Python codes for strong bending and chromatic effects, and compare to GR, emphasizing complementarity. For broader appeal, we explain concepts intuitively, highlighting potential paradigm shifts if predictions hold, such as resolving cosmological anomalies without abstract curvature.
