Simulation of the Pyrolysis Process of Disused Tires Through Documentary Analysis of the Alternatives Found in the Last 10 Years
This work presents a comprehensive simulation of waste tire pyrolysis, based on a systematic review of scientific and technical advances from the last decade. Using Aspen Plus V11, the study evaluates parameters, variables, and process conditions that determine the efficiency of converting end-of-life tires into fuels and by-products with high calorific value. The research highlights the environmental, economic, and social relevance of pyrolysis as a sustainable alternative to mitigate the impact of tire waste, providing a benchmark for future experimental applications and industrial scaling. By combining rigorous documental analysis with advanced process simulation, this project contributes to science, technology, and innovation (STI) in circular economy, energy recovery, and sustainable engineering
