The Flavor Puzzle and Precision Tests of the Standard Model from E8 Geometry in the Golden K Hypothesis
This paper presents a significant extension of the Golden K Hypothesis (GKH), applying its geometric first principles to solve the flavor puzzle and predict precision electroweak observables of the Standard Model. The work demonstrates that the flavor mixing structure, encapsulated in the CKM and PMNS matrices, is a direct and computable consequence of the E8 root lattice geometry. A geometric algorithm based on discrete angular steps and a scale-damping factor is used to derive the matrix elements, yielding values for mixing angles and the CP-violating phase in remarkable agreement with experimental data, without the use of continuous free parameters. A key achievement is the unification of the mass and flavor puzzles, showing that the same geometric quantum numbers that dictate the mass hierarchy also determine the flavor mixing structure. Furthermore, the paper shows how the GKH principle of "Dynamic Causality" provides a unified mechanism for the running of fundamental couplings and makes specific predictions for precision observables, including the oblique parameters (S, T, U) and a resolution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon (g-2), all of which are consistent with current measurements. The paper also proposes a topological origin for the weak interaction's chirality.
